Ive seen John in LA with John Debo NYE 2 yrs ago @ the Palace. Great memories of that night, so Diggers is doing an outdoor party. Interesting to see if he is playing for 12 hours again.

I think Diggers is only getting 6 hours on his own stage, but does anyone know what Avalon is doing? Apparently they are selling VIP tickets for NYE right now but are waiting to say who's playing...?

Yeah I'll take my chances in LA with Digweed and the Crystal Method. Your so-called 'house parties' with great music don't exist in Reno. Trust me. I could get all dressed up like a cowboy and go kick some shit or go to the inevitable 'Top-40' party that the casinos will be throwing for the yuppies but my overcrowded, overpriced Giant LA scene sounds much more appealing.

Pardon my ignorance, but this is who is playing and I haven't the foggiest clue who the hell they are nor how they commanded an NYE performance.

EDIT: Ok here's an addendum. Not content with being unknowning of who VNV Nation is, I did some digging on SLSK and found this group to be one of the shittiest bunch of turds in the realm of electonic music. It's a very strange blend of BAD trance (oxymoron perhaps?) and a little something I like to call "Rock Talking". If you're unaware it's the phenomenon in which rock stars choose loud talking as opposed to actual melodic singing. Very bad combo IMO. I am guessing no one (including me) from this board will celebrate NYE @ Avalon Hollywood. Blech!

I know it is NOT in the USA.......but if u come to Montreal, Canada on NYE.....u can see Sander K, Max Graham, DJ Dan and DJ Sneak....all of the same night at the same location.......and it would be cheap for all U Americans with the exchange rate
