well when i said about capital punishment i did not mean in this case. what i would like is minimum 10 years in prison max 20. Also when a dog kills someone they are put down why should it not be the same mind u??

This story is extemely sad, but do you really believe that they should be killed as a punishment? It's possible that they are genuinely mentally ill, in which case they need help. Even if they're not is pretty extreme to suggest they should be put to death

I don't know. OK, if they're genuinely mentally ill they should be given a chance to be cured, but if not, then I actually think the death penalty wouldn't be too extreme (and this is even before seeing the video footage). I mean what they did is equivalent to stealing an 18 month toddler from someone's home, and then torturing that baby at that picnic spot...cutting off the baby's nose, torturing it all night long, cutting of the arms and legs, and then dumping the body on the road somewhere!! It still makes me sick to think about it!

If an example were made of a couple of these *things* (I hate to use the word *people*), then the rest of the sickos out there would think twice about actually doing whatever disgusting acts they get off on. Make the cost of these acts so high that it'd outweight any pleasure they'd gain from it.

thanks guys.. his name is Cash and he is only 5 months old. They are the best guard dogs for sure. Very stubborn though. he is a King Doberman which just a fancy way of saying he is going to be a monster.

my friend has a mini doberman that fucks shit up, lol.

my sister and brother inlaw used to breed pit bulls, and i'm still convinced that a pits jaws can not be trifled with -- period. as far as it being an all around guard dog tho... i dunno how they stand up to others.

i wanna get my own dog someday. lookin at maybe a pit, doberman, german shepard, or a blood hound. any thoughts?

i'm a personal fan of german shepards or border collies.

not a fan of dobermans or pit bulls, especially after all the bad press!

^^ there is no bad dog there are bad owners and if your dog is causing problems that is your fault. Having a dog for most people seems easy but its not....its a big responsibility trust me.

they all come from the wolf. Big dogs need a lot of attention. I know that sounds cliche but that is the reality. Constant watching and training. Little dogs to me are useless that is why I opted for a big dog. Plus with the economy in the tank I figured a big doberman might be good for protection.

Most viscous dog in canada is the rottweiler and golden retriever.

Rotty;s are typically chained up dogs (guard dog) that is why. But the most recorded dog bites come from the golden retrievers. The dog will be what you make it. My Dobe is a suck face. He wouldn't hurt a fly. He lives with two Shi-Tzu's and believe me they get the better of him. He is always running away from them.

PS - a "mini pincher" is not a Doberman. Not even the same breed or temperament whatsoever. Min Pins are pretty lethal. They have a very aggressive temperament.

^^ true they need a lot of attention and a lot of excercise. Keeping a Dobe in a kennel locked up everyday will eventually make him neurotic and vicious. They need an early training and socialization to become good pets. It amazes me how quickly these dogs pick up at training....they get bored very easy too lol

i usually dog sit my sisters dog one day a week, and i decided to take a picture of him today. we are gunna go out for a long run soon, so here he is! the dog is more well behaved than most humans, (especially me )

hes a mutt for sure; Rhodesian ridge-back/German Shepard mix pretty much tho.

A friend of mine has a dog who looks almost identical to that and they sold it to her as a Lab/ shepherd cross

Everytime someone in the park asks her what breed the dog is and she says that, everyone falls around laughing. She even has the ridge. The dog has not my friend

Btw The dog has a really, really, nice nature, but totally out of control.

Saw a belgian shepherd the other day, lovely dog!!

The breeder in AZ and I have been in contact on when another "blue" male will be available, I am super stoked to get a thai ridgeback!
