    Re: Batman Begins

I thought Batman Begins was good too. I like the first Batman movie with Jack Nicholson as the joker as much though. The beginning of Batman Begins was the best part. I thought later in the movie it got a little outlandish which I guess it should since it's a comic book movie.

I like the way they setup the ending for the next Batman movie. Hopefully we'll get a decent franchise going.

i like it. It?s awesome. But i agree with superdave, the first Batman movie with Jack Nicholson as the joker is the best of all time.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was darker than the rest and it focused more on the element of fear, the real essence of Batman, which made it that much better. It was especially welcome post-Ahhhhnold.

        5/5 IMO.

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

I liked the movie too. Great cast and a good comeback for Batman after the last two disasters. It?s interesting how it contradicts the story on Batman 1 where the Joker was the murderer of Batman parents.
However, the movie still isnt quite as goog as the first two movies which were awesome. One thing I hated about this movie what the batmovil: what the f%$& was that... so unsexy and slow.

Absolutely love it. Great casting. Great story. Excellent balance between telling the beginning story and throwing in the action sequences.

As for the Batmobile. Christopher Nolan never meant it to be sexy. It's inkeeping with the story in that it's been modified from imported military equipment. So it makes sense.

                Easily the best Batman move.

It would really be great if they re-did the jocker movie, like remoh said over there.

Yeah, Nicholson as Joker is a classic that shouldn't be remade right now if ever.

Saw Batman Begins last night, was well impressed overall, a whole lot better than the previous couple

Was a lot less cartoon-ish I thought, a kind of change in direction overall, with the focus on Batman rather than the villain.

It looks like a remake of The Joker is on the cards alright, it's hard to see how they could improve on Jack Nicholson though!!!!!

just got a chance to see this movie on dvd and it kicks ass. love the style, theme and story. 2 things though. what's up with liam neesom being the older mentor guy in every movie he does now? katie holmes. not a good choice. she has no depth in her characters. i was waiting for dawson to come on the screen when ever she was there.
