    Re: Untitled house music documentry

Thank God for Derrick Carter. Finally saying it right that House did NOT start in Chicago. It began in NYC. Hell even the Knuckle man will tell you that.

Don't know if I will be watching this, as they are all talking about basic house music. Something I don't have much of an interest in. I like my music a bit darker.

It is kinda funny about all these documentaries. No one of yet has really done much to try to make a true documentary of dance music and all it's variables.

I've seen High Tech Soul: which was about Detriot Techno. Feiern: which was about the Berlin club scene. Modulations: Which was a generalization of electronic music. Those Moonshine videos they were putting out. Better living through circuitry: which was mostly about raves. Maestro: which was mostly about Larry Levan and the Paradise Garage. The GU DVD's, which we all know what they are about. Not to forget the Minus documentary.

Now this year, we have this film. Berlin Calling, and Speaking in Code to look forward to. Gonna be hopefully a good year for EDM movies.
