Putting sets in your iPod

To those that own iPods, how do you put your sets into iTunes and then into iPod. I happen to separate every set with a cue sheet like that i have all the track names and stuff. The only problem is the gap between each track which is annoying, especially in the middle of an awesome mix. Also i do it this way because i remember reading somewhere that leaving big files in your iPod will make the battery life go down faster. Is this all true? How do you guys do it? Thanks for the help

I don't think it matters if its on ME or not. I don't think you can put tracks in with cue files. You have just drop in the whole set, or cut it up with the cue and drop them in as seperate tracks. I listen to a lot of sets on my ipod, but I just drop the whole file as one track on and play it. I don't see any battery difference at all, but then again I pretty much listen to sets exclusively.

yeah I just raw dog sets on mine.... no sense in cutting it up imo

Same here. It gets too cluttered if you break them up into individual tracks.

I've had no problem with the battery life and my ipod is at max capacity. I'm pretty sure you can eliminate the gaps or set specific time intervals within the cue sheet.

yep - track at once.... f-ing annoying that you can't ffwd more quickly though.
