Almost never do I finish a set and immediately want to listen again..... but this was 5h30m of pure bliss. I'm not patient and few marathon sets keep my interest the whole way, this was an exception. The tracklisting, the flow, the mixing was top notch and I would love to shake Danny's hand and thank him for this piece of magic. These are strong words cuz as I've said had a hard time finishing his sets. maybe the odd track selection, I don't know but will definitely try to listen again. Thanks for the links and the tracklistings guys.

It seems a bit odd having a gig from mid day to midnight on Gold Cup Day. I guess the people going to Brown Alley don't like Horse Racing. If I was in Melbourne I would of gone to this

The race is around 3 -4 in the afternoon so a lot of people did . They also had a broadcast of the cup in the club. And of course as it was a tuesday a lot of people had to work the next day.

I liked the RA mix a lot, I think Danny is the kind of guy that is willing to take risks and put everything on the line for arts sakeand thats why he has risen to the top... that being said, it is a fact I that havent connected a lot to the things he has been doing lately, I hope this comes through again like the RA mix, Thanks a lot for this....

I have to admit this set didn't really do it for me. It started off OK but I was expect it to build a bit more as it progressed. And for me it didn't. I felt it was similar to how Lee Burridge plays, where it just continues at the same level. Like I said in an earlier post I've always loved Danny live and I love his Cd's. I just don't seem to get on with his live sets at home.

Danny howells doesnt care what people says about his music. He is on rank 123 DJ MAG and he still doing a 80´s rock mix on RA , Danny enjoy what he does, only that.
