Out Now:
Nosmo v Kris B- 'Jostrupine E.P.' (tech house/ techno/ minimal)
available now, exclusively at Beaport (available worldwide Feb 3rd)
Nosmo v Kris B bring us another side to their diverse sound, with techno, tech-house and minimal flavors on the Jostrupine EP. Jostle has a quirky tech house vibe, with a funky bassline, hard techno stabs, sparse guitar hits, an acid line, and weird chunks of german vocal samples. Ostrich starts out with a driving techno feel, hard dark chord hits then open up to warm organ chords with a tight minimal feel. The funky bass comes in, and the track builds and swells through deep, spooky changes. Porcupine starts with sparse atmospherics, percussion builds one element at a time, and deep 808 bass notes drop in. A hypnotic guitar like sound builds
tension over time, to a big break that comes back in hard. Ostrich has been featured on a compilation mixed by Bitcrushers (Gaby Dershin of Astro & Glyde) for New York club The Sullivan room. Nightshade will be releasing a remix EP, featuring remixes of all of the above tracks remixed by Kabuto & Koji, Van Hagen & Haterboy, Fulcrum, Deep Future, C.O.U. Muzik, Paul Loraine and Craig McWhinney.
