    good story but i think the acting by the other cast members was a bit piss poor. Eastwood did well, but everyone else's acting was just shit imo. in my eyes, that really hurt the film--felt like someone was taking their fingernails and scraping it down a chalkboard.

        Well that's his way of the studio giving him 100MIL for a movie and him hiring a bunch of unknowns so he doesn't have to pay them as much, and therefore he get's to pocket even more $$.

          Good movie, felt like I was watching the lifetime channel at times because the scenes did not transition very well...however the story line is good and reminded me of my grandfather. I personally think No Country for Old Men is a far superior film, but we are all of course going to have different interpretations and opinions. I give it a 7

          It was fun while it lasted...

            well worth seeing this film.
            took about 20 mins to get going.
            i was pleased they didnt wrap everything up nicely.
            clint was fantastic.

              Saw this last night. 8/10. This movie kind of just sucks you in. Good character development throughout.

                It's an interesting deconstruction of his Dirty Harry type of character that made his career. For that I admire it, but it isn't one of Eastwood's best.
