Smokers are trying out the first 'e-cig', a Chinese-made device that mimics the ritual of smoking but is claimed to be entirely legal indoors. The six-inch white plastic stick uses a battery-powered atomiser to create realistic puffs of 'smoke'

The only good thing is that i walk 2 hours a day with my dog which really did help me lose a couple kilos.

trying again with the cigarettes, only smoking a couple every few days now, down from about a million/day...

i'm also picking up my guitar again, sucks i can't even improvise over simple standards anymore. but it's lots of fun!

Man I'm lucky, I quit smoking for a few months, and now smoke about 1 or 2 a day, but the number goes up if I'm out and alcohol is involved.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

Quit those fiends 2 years ago - best thing I ever did

With the right supports, it IS possible

for what it's worth, I found Alan Carr's "Easy way to stop smoking" an excellent aid that really helped

i was never on the wagon, but lately i've been in the gutter! it's mainly b/c of my work headache, or lack of really. i haven't worked on a film since july due to several issues completely out of my hands. so due to that, i've been staying with the parental units in the town i grew up in ( which is 3 hrs from where i live in new orleans ) working with my dad. i drive back to n.o. every wknd b/c 1- there's absolutely nothing to do where i grew up. 2- there's noone to really hang out with. 3- staying with the units is driving me crazy. 4- if for no other reason than to sleep in my own bed.
so lately i've been hitting the bottle rather hard!
Don't let anyone drive you crazy when you know it's in walking distance.

I don't believe in making New Years resolutions as I don't see why you need to wait until the beginning of the year or use it as an excuse to fix something in your life.

Just because you say it on NYE it doesn't give you special abilities to overcome something....you should be able to make that decision any day of the year and commit to it if you really want to change something.

On that note, I really should get on the wagon after the past few weekends I've had, lol

been cutting back...have a bit of a rager once in a while, but it's a time also for me where not much is going on night-wise which also gives me a good excuse (last "high end" I was pulling Wed-Sat easy with everything that was going on).

Do have some incentive....tomorrow is my court date from a DWI in New York last year where I got a little too much going before heading home. Supposed to plead down to a lesser charge; problem is Massachusetts doesn't recognize it and treats things the same way. So maybe I can throw probation in as a term to keep it off the record here. But it woke me up a bit you could say.

I'm also on a weight-loss/transformation contest where the winners get cash and that goes through March.

That and I want to seriously get a business going and start making some good money...around here, the "job market" flat out sucks (poorest region in the state which says a bit). So far...so good. If I can get this DWI thing down I'll be OK.

Good luck with that FM. I know firsthand MASS. is a bitch with legal issues. Had quite a few things over my head when I moved to New York. Lost my license for a year cuz of my second drug charge about 10 years ago. A friggin joint no less. Wasn't even driving. Things will work out brother!
