I quit for 6 + years. Smoked from 22 to 32 about a pack a day. Then I started again in 2007 while in London and Ibiza, still smoking today, about 2 to 6 a day.
I quit almost 2 years ago. Haven't looked back. It disgusts me know.
That's why I started smoking again. I would get nauseous if I was drunk and smelled cigarette smoke. I figured that’s not really going to be a good thing while in Ibiza for 12 days and London for a week. I started smoking right before the trip, it worked as far as the nausea, but I haven’t stopped since.

this is what happens.. i cant understand why people forget they used to smoke and become so bitchie with other people who still smoke!
no personal offense Dave, im talking in general coz im seeing this all the time! my uncle was a heavy smoker.. he quit 3 months before the smoking ban in UK. now when i smoke a cig outside of the kitchen at the restaurant i work, he comes down and he tells me to move away from the door coz the smoke goes inside the restaurant and customers will smell it...
i mean WTF!!!!!!

Used to smoke back in college and grad school (hit a max of 10 a day) but for the last 10 years or so have only really smoked when I drank. But that used to be like close to a pack a weekend. Ever since the no smokiing in clubs/bars ban, plus hanging out with friends who've quit, even my smoking while drinking has been cut down dramatically...usually no more than a handful of cigs a weekend (4-6, 8max).
I can't say its done wonders for my stamina as I try to stay fit anyway, but it definitely is good not to have that overwhelming urge to step outside when seated at dinner and drinking.
