    RPO Records Set

Who mixed this set? The tracks are nothing special, I have almost every one, and HAVE had them for a while... Great Set either way, but it sounds like the CD I sent in to the "Next Big Thing" DJ Contest.....

while i dont know which set you are talking about, i am a fan of rick's sound. he has like three labels in total, and he regularly sends me material, which most of the times is great.

              my 2 cents
if you have not tried it, don't knock it...

His Kiss 100 set that just aired on john digweeds show last saturday. You should check it out. I thoroughly enjoyed it all the way through. Rockin set. If I do say so myself.

i think i have all of rpo's trax but one or two....definately a quality dark sound to his stuff, except his last record which is a bit funky.

I wasnt saying it was a bad set, in fact, I really enjoyed it. Im just sayin that as a DJ, I expect the guest mix on the KISS shows to be a little more eye opening. Isnt that why he is the guest??

Now you've got me confused. You really enjoyed the set but it wasn't 'eye-opening'? What is 'eye-opening' in your opinion? You want air-raid sirens thrown in for good measure? Give me an example of a Kiss guest mix that you consider 'eye-opening'.
