I saw it in a plane in August I guess, so I don't know whether it's the bad seats, the small screen or the bad headphone tehy provide...

But I really didn't like it. And I am a fan of the genre (like butterfly effect, Donnie Darko etc.) -si maybe it just didn't tick for me....

The film is amazing. The director has definately been doing drugs since he was seven...maybe eight

The film was awesome..but i.m.o the core of the movieshould have been purely the jim/kate relationship. The Psychiatrist and his mistress element was a little too unbelievable

Brilliant movie.... the production was phenomenal and how they handled various elements of bouncing back and forth through memory was not only imagined and crafted spectacularly, it was even extremely well edited in the movie...

from what I saw, the idea that the only essence of humanity (i.e. ability to love or fall in love with that one special person) cannot be wiped out really grabbed me.... amazing.... I mean how deep rooted were the effects of it all that even in a memory wipe out, they both decided to re-unite (of sorts) at Montauk.... that to me was the most touching aspect of this flick......and not only that..... inspite of all our troubles, disagreements, and love hate relationships that we all share, given the chance to start anew, we all somewhere would still be willing to take that chance is very well captured ....

I actually thought that this was one of the striking / key elements to completing the entire love theme of the film.... it was not just Kate who felt the need to turn around and fall in love with whom she was.... even Kirsten somewhere had deep rooted effects inside of her despite her wipe out.... and in fact IN SPITE of her actions i.e. sending out all those tapes to people who had gone through the treatment and hearing all the nasty things they had to say about their loved ones and STILL trying to give it another chance was caught very well...

birlliant film.... I was VERY VERY surprised at how well Jim acted ..... he didn't have his usual and mundane dosage of his MASK idiocity and I was even more surprised with how Elijah put on the front of a horny teenager trying to make his way through this lonely world.....

I would defo be catching this movie again ....

Where is RVC? This was filmed in Boston or Maryland or something?

Anyways, I thought this movie was absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking in a way. I'm almost scared to see it again because it is so moving to me. In a sense it has a postive message, but man, was it a good movie.

Also, I didn't really like butterfly effect, I thought it could have been good, but it was a little to 'obvious'.

finally, i got around to seeing this movie. i absolutely enjoyed this movie. i wish more twisted movies came out more often. kaufman is one of the best writersif not the best writer in hollywood. Adaptation was great, being john malkovich fucking ruled. cant wait to see what he has planned next. Carey that man was fucking brillant in this movie, Winslett now i have a way better movie to remember her by than that fucking chick flick from 98 called TITANIC, anyways thats my two cents.
