i think this movie is dealing mostly with the EGO of humans and how can be overcomed in certain circumstances. though i believe that if there is a book it will be wicked....

I didn't really care for the movie so much I think its really rather hit or miss, people seem to either really like or really hate it, I kind fall between, it was worth a watch but I won't be back to watch it again.

Loved it. Kaufman is the king man. Adaptation is still my favourite, but this was really cool, I had to buy it.

i thought it was awesome just because it takes a completely unique approach to the genre of romantic films. everyone should give it a watch because of its unique approach imo. thats what i respect most about it.

^^ you wanna appreciate a movie, light a bowl and watch Contact.... let the movie get over....let your imagination run wild..... and discuss the whackies possibilities with the person who watched it with you.... then watch it again..... and see the different things you realize about the movie.... I have still to watch the movie and have it give me the same effect..... GREAT flick

Contact... oye... I cry like a fool when i watch that movie.. thinking has to wait for a while until I can stop being a basket case. But thinking yes, that movie is along my favorite lines of speculation of the unknown. So is 12 monkeys, me likey things where people are discredited for being crazy or lying cause they arent making sense

Saw this last night ..thought the movie was real good...It shows you that every now and then Hollywood can actually make a movie with a storyline

I saw this once in India but the quality (a TS-VCD showed on the local cable-tv) was so bad that I had to see it again. And I wasn't dissappointed. One of Jim Carrey most steller performances in my oppinion.
I really like movies like this and Memento which also messed around with the viewers perception of time.
