    Wow that's crazy! It's really impressive how well he was able to land that plane in the water and save the lives of everyone on board

        it's a great story at a time when the news is mostly bad news. i read that the plane cleared the george washington bridge by only 900 feet. scary!

        i also read somewhere that an airplane has only landed on water once where everyone survived. that was back in the 1950's in russia.

        i wanted to go see the plane in the river, but it has been mad cold in new york the last few days.

            I just found out that the plane's captain, Chesley Sullenberger, received a masters in psychology from my school, Purdue University!

            Whoa! He's a fellow boilermaker! I didn't think I could have any more respect for the man until now!
