    Good luck, bro, hope it works out for you. I have a good friend that gave up teaching to play poker professionally a few years ago, and it's worked out pretty well for him. His work hours are a little odd -- he often plays late at night, playing tight and taking money from drunken college students online after they get home from the bars -- but he's making more than he ever did as a teacher. The absence of benefits and the lack of verifiable income (for credit purposes) have been a bit of a drag, but not so much that he's wanted to go back to regular employment.

        best of luck to you. it's not often that we see people break away from what they are accustomed to in order to chase a dream. if it works out....great, if not at least you did something that most will never have the courage to.
