ProtonRadio presents SolidSounds
It is again my turn to take the controls of the Solid Sounds show on Proton Radio. The show airs tomorrow, Tuesday, 6pm - 8pm EST (11pm-1am GMT)
My portion of the show is very close to my heart as it is the live recording from Thanksgiving weekend 2008 at Jelly. This weekend 100's of friends and family members of my dear friend Steve James gathered together on a chilly November evening to pay tribute to someone very special. I had the privilege of sharing the decks with a couple of very talented djs, our own Hafid being one of them. It was a magical night, as I am sure most of you have heard about and/or seen the pictures of.
This night TRULY represented what Steve was all about.. Music, Loved ones and the connection between the two. I hope you enjoy the set as much as I enjoyed playing it and again extremely honoured to be involved in the celebration. This portion kicks off at 7pm EST

The first hour I have my good friend Nicole aka ButtaKupp (6pm-7pm EST)
Be sure to keep an eye and ear out for this NYC based DJ. This well trained lil' lady began her dj career as a music thirsty teenager! She’s been tearing up all dance floors from house parties to massive events, for over a decade.
ButtaKupp is known for her energy, diversity, deep bass and heavy drops. She started out with a passion for drum and bass and has since evolved into a Techno Diva. She has played all over the East Coast and along side some of the most respected DJs in our industry. This girl not only drops nasty beats, she does so with intense charisma, usually wearing heels and fly fem gear! She is sweet, beautiful, polished and glossy but plays obscene sets we all get down and dirty to.
