Re: i'm quitting smoking...again
so. looking thru some old posts i find this one...
how is the situation with smoking going on with you?
since this topic was active, i reached 6 months without cigs,
and a coffee at friends home fucked everything up.
in the beginning there was only one cigaret for a coffee,
and only with my best friend at his place.
after a month i bought a pack, before going to a club, and the
shit went on till last weekend, 6. Jan, when i got that feeling
that i dont want to put any cigarete in my mouth ever again.
finished my last pack, and didnt bought any since.
been to 3 parties since, had the urge, but fought it well,
i think i am on a good way of finally get things under control.
i know some plp who quitted 4 years ago, and they say that
there is still a fight going on in the head on some occasions.
definetly nicotine is the worst drug of them all.I take Viagra and Prozac together. If I can't get it up, I don't care.Comment

Re: i'm quitting smoking...again
i quit late feb 2005, cold turkey after 5 years or so of smoking between 10 and 20 cigs a day. after i said i was quitting i havent had a single cigarette, but i still get cravings. every once in a while, i have a dream and smoke a cigarette in it (not dreaming about smoking, i just happen to smoke in a dream about something else) and i wake up feeling like i cheated
what made it easier to quit for me (pulling a sick boy) was that i had 2 friends that "quit" at the same time, one of whom is still smoking heavily, and the other bummed from people for about 6 months after i stopped, i used them failing to do it as my motivation to succeed, and it worked a charm.Comment
