one advice: keep some energy for the last hours, as digweed starts relatively slow and cool with some groovy bassline and towards the end he plays harder and harder until he plays some really pounding stuff, then finishes with some electro stuff usually.

    ENJOY!

i once thought that, but lately he's been getting pretty fluffy...his last one that was just up on [ms] is direct evidence of that... hopefully he comes back to the darkside soon!

for sure man, i was there at the bedrock party as well...and he definitely brought the evilness...i was very happy!! when i said lately, i was meaning very recently, like the past few months... i dunno, it's different everytime... i saw him in chicago about 1-2 years ago at the congress theater and he absolutely tore it up... dark, evil, ambient, just plain SICK shit.... then a year later or whatever i see him in chicago again at sound-bar... and he is nowhere as deep, bumpin' shit that was pretty tight, but somewhat generic and he definitely threw in some semi-fluff tracks, which disappointed me. his last few live sets i've heard havn't exactly been the dope shit either... i dunno, he's still #1 in my book!!

Might be dull at the beginning but just give him a bit and then diggers gets comes to form. Deep, Dark and bangin. Diggers live is always a great time.

                                Re: Uhuhuhuh... DIGWEEEEEEEEEEEEED!

hey grant im on ITM and am a massive Diggers fan and would love so im thinking about paying for VIP membership to be able to go, but i heard that theres 100 tix allocated to VIP ITMers and theres a comp to win the tix.... is this true? cos other than getting into the Diggers gig, i see little point of VIP membership (cos i dont usually go to the events that they give discount to...)
                                whats ur advice?
Well, straight up I'll tell you I'm biased - I'm heavily associated with inthemix, since I run the ITM-FM section of the site. That said, I was an ITM-VIP before I started doing that.

The way I see it is this: Diggers is well worth the VIP membership price alone. On top of that, there's heaps of other benefits - not just parties, but for clothing stores, record stores, other giveaways and "VIP" treatment like with their special bathrooms at the mega events like Field Day and Park Life. (When you want to find a bathroom on New Years Day, you do not want to be waiting in a line for half an hour. Straight in; straight out.)

As far as I understand it, the way it's going to be handled is that there's 100 double passes available to VIPs only. These will be freebies, but I'm imagining there will be some sort of pecking order. Andre hasn't told me exactly how it's going to be handled just yet. It's probably just a matter of answering a simple question (eg: What record label does Digweed run?) to seperate people a bit.

It's going to be insane ...I can't wait!
