I think this is something most everyone here can agree on. Whether they lean to the right or left, this is a good thing.

Anyone know why John Ashcroft resigned in the first place? There was plenty of speculation because his time in office had been highly controversial, but this is way outta left field just like the Tenet resignation.

I've heard rumblings that he may have some health issues. Just rumblings, though, and I can't recall the source, so that could be utter BS.
Anyone know anything about Gonzalez? I'm not that familiar with him. I know that he's been Bush's lap dog for years and that he wrote some sort of memo justifying or endorsing torture in Guantanamo Bay or Iraq (I forget which). Those obviously aren't great traits, but I honestly can't imagine that he could be worse than Ashcroft. At least for the time being, I welcome the change...
