yeah, one of the best movies I have seen in recent times. I generally despise DeCaprio (ever since the Titanic) but he really did do a great job in this no doubt.

^^ Really? Gangs of New York didn't do it for you? Thought he was excellent in that one. He was great in Departed too despite the horrific acting by the rest of the cast (except Baldwin and Marky Mark).Imagination was given to man to compensate him for what he is not;

x2. Nothing he's done has really outshone that. I mean, yeah he's good at emoting and giving us that anguished look, but I don't know, maybe it's the stories of the films he's been in, don't really feel for their characters. He needs to do a proper autobiographical kinda film that people can relate to, not some gangster or cop or tycoon that's almost mythical. But Basketball Diaries, that felt real.
