That is a damn shame. Loved the Cramps when I was younger -- had the good fortune to see them live back in the mid-late nineties, put on a hell of a show.

I was never into the Cramps. I was more of a Misfits kind of kid...then came the Descendants, The Damned and GBH. Never really got into the Ramones either...that type of punk...to me, was reserved for the Sex Pistols. There really was a lot of different punk rock movements back then, now that I think about it. Probably as much as there are types of house music.Comment

yeah with me, and all the original punk fans, punk died back in the early 90's. The rest of the stuff now is just retro, trying to relive the old days, but without all the club violence. These kids nowadays don't know what it's like to be in a real moshpit. LOLComment

we still have some pretty crazy shows and pit action locally though. but they are few and far between. cos ther is way too much fagotry fake punk in the oc.

... these days its all about the look and none of the action and its funny seeing those kids waiting for parents to pick them up after gigs
