    Oldboy (2003)

IMDB: After being kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years, Oh Dae-Su is released, only to find that he must find his captor in 5 days.

Man this movie is breathtaking, great vengance theme, to experience the full directors vision you must see the complete trilogy, Old Boy, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance Sympathy for Mr. Lady Vengance. The 3 movies don't have anything in common except for the vengance theme, so the order you watch them doesn't matter, but of the three old boy was the one I enjoyed the most...

Rumor has it that Steven Spielberg is gonna Direct a remake and the role of Oldboy will be played by Will Smith

Easily the best film from 2003. Can Spielberg and Smith do it any justice I doubt it. Probably means I will have to listen to the morons at work who wouldnt watch the original because it has subtitles going on about it.

                Re: Oldboy (2003)

3 x very good films .. pity they seldom do a decent season over here.

Can't see how they'd re-make this ... it took Scorsese, Nicholson, Damon & Di Caprio to just about pay homage to infernal affairs.

WTF ... it'll be Will Smith as Hancock beating up aliens.
