wish i had dune and castles still. damn. i'm under the impression that some old games are download-able now right? is it safe? also how would i go about installing them without the hard components?

nice. i've actually been playing civ4 beyond the sword a bit lately, does anyone have the warlords expansion set to civ 4? was considering picking that up. i just rolled as the carthaginians, in a custom game and chose the romans as one of the opponets... hehe, should be a fun game.

      -Age of Empires 2
-Diablo 1 and 2 and expansion
Nice, I dloaded these the other day as well. I've been teaching my 11 year old brother how to play SC4. It's a classic and awesome game. Dloaded D2 and the expansion but got bored after a little bit.

Can't install these cos they only run on super old OS systems. lol.

      -Civilization 2
      -Sim City 2000
      -Sim Tower
      -Age of Empires 1
      -Command and Conquer
      -Caesar 1 2 and 3
      -Pharoah

Ahhh the good old days. Sim Tower was awesome as was the original CC and Red Alert. Caeser was cool also but i think the Total War series kind of warped it.

the only problem with these games is that you lost the ability to recognize the graphics featured in them.

I gave a go at Dune, first part, remember flying around in that bloody ornithopter,
but sadly playing it doesnt give the satisfaction which i expected and remembered, not to mention the PC speaker banging.

We are spoiled with today's hi-def graphics, ultra big plots, etc.
I take Viagra and Prozac together. If I can't get it up, I don't care.

Very true. I think we all have certain child hood games we love no matter how much they suck.
