    i don't know but i'd imagine after his brother died, it probably took a toll on him. hopefully he doesn't end up like river =/.

        Acting as a musician in a movie does not always translate to real life, does it really matter if was not an actor no one would care, this guy makes Bruce Willis's and Kevin Bacon's attempts at a
        musically career seems successful.

                      if he is hit hard by his brothers death, then being in depression yet doing your best mentally to fight it can definitely be very very hard (though I'm looking forward for threehills to give some medical reason other than drugs on this). I do hope he isn't that far gone.
