I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me

I do. I have 3 hotmail accounts and a gmail account that I've been using in Thunderbird. Now I'm finally able to uninstall these buggy Thunderbird hotmail add-ons and use POP

Still have one but barely use it. Only 2 people are sending my E-Mails on it..rest is spam lol. I only have it because when I signed up for my MSN account years ago, you HAD to have a Hotmail account to get in. Stupid Microsucks world conquer strategies.

Do people still use POP? I'd have thought everyone uses web mail or IMAP for corporate these days. I gave up POP and Eudora for Gmail because it was obviously a lot more convenient when travelling. You also run into hassles like archiving your email or transferring them to a new computer when you use POP which downloads your mail to the hard drive.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

You can choose in Outlook and GMail to leave a copy on the server though.

^^ There are free Hotmail accounts and Hotmail Plus accounts you need to pay for. In the Plus accounts, POP3 was always enabled, in the free accounts so far they weren't an option (another Microsucks world conquer strategy I guess lol). I just tried it out and added my free account to GMail..worked like a charm. Now I have them all in GMail for when I am not at home. Thanks for the headsup, Adam.
