    Break your records

Anyone ever been so pissed by trainwrecking the same mix over and over again that you actually broke one of your records (of course one that's new enough so you can buy one)?

I just did. Felt great. Fuck it.

No I usually take a page out of Sasha's book and throw them across the room.

      Sometimes they break though.

i'll brake them if they only have one good side, and it starts skipping or gets worn down to the point the soundquality is crap.

its fun to do at gigs too, it gets the crowed reved up.

I used to have a bad habit of breaking headphones in the midst of a rage. Then I spent a load of cash of the Sennheiser HD25s and that problem was fixed right away - no way I'm going to risk breaking those things.

Speaking of vinyl destruction, a friend of mine gave me a copy of the horrible "Music Sounds Better With You" a few years back as a joke birthday present. Amazingly, it is still in tact, but we have had long-standing plans to sacrifice it in a pagan-like ceremony at a goa party sometime - just to fuck with the people on too much acid.

                        One day it will happen.

i took a few records one day and hung them from the lacrosse net at my house and wound up. this usually happens with SAW Recordings records. they are good but the company that cuts the vinyl is compete shite. always jumpy at the end of the song. barouque and Looq are doing this lately.

                            Re: Break your records

Me and my mates used to live in this old house with a basement that surrounded you with concrete walls and floors. One night after drinking way too much I though it would be a good idea to break all of my freinds' classic trance records by smashing them against the concrete walls. A couple of the lucky trance bombs to get broken were:

                            Zombie Nation
                            Silence
                            the Launch

                            need I say more...

                            I love breaking crappy vinyl!
