Yes it has become that shitty. Almost 2m unemployed, god knows how many of them are long-term unemployed. There is no incentive to go to work anyway.

I just found out that a friend of mine's 19 year old daughter has been housed by the council in a brand new 2 bed flat, because she has just got a newborn child. What message does that send out to people? To give her some credit, she is at college and fully intends to work throughout her life, but there are thousands more who just milk the system for every damn penny.

^ Crazy it's a struggle at 32. I've got a 13 year old daughter and this type of shit is what scares the shit out of me. She's got a boyfriend and is always on the phone with him. The struggle is toeing the line and trying not to alienate her from the wife and I while being strict on what she's allowed to do. The kid is deathly afraid of me and I've already warned him on how valuable life is.
