just found out a few hours ago one of my old roommates from LSU died last night in tampa. i was talking to some friends about it and started thinking about how many friends i've had that are now dead ( probably b/w 10 -15 ) and i'm only 33. and the more i thought about it, i realized that this is the 3rd or 4th during the month of february. i can remember when i was 18- 21 not being able to sleep more than usual during the month b/c of it. i'd have nightmare's and just bad feelings that would keep me awake for days. fuck this fucking month!!!

Steve was a really great guy. Always positive and always about the music. I have a complete video of Sasha and Digweed playing the riverboat party in NO in '97 on VHS he gave me a copy of, always sharing the love for beats. Surprised he never joined the mercuryserver nation, would have gotten along famously with all the heads here.Comment
