Not to sound particular but this was from the 80's. And All Along The Watch Tower was a Bob Dylan track.

I'm a 60's man myself. The Who, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, the birth of Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix and The Elvis 68 Comeback Special etc. Hard to knock.

I did not know that. I've never heard it either. Thanks for the knowledge!

If I could make the decade consist of the late 60's and early 90's then that would be the magical musical decade for me.

i didn't know that either but somehow it looks like i said it - as for fools gold it was released in 89 i know but was a massive tune through the early 90s and i think sums up the indie sound of that time. To call it an eighties tune sort of groups it together with wham and duran duran which is unfair

Sixties were by far the most influence on me, second would be the Acid house scene of the mid and late eighties, then the reggae of the seventies.

              2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
              3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...

Or you could group it along with the original 'indie' band The Smiths. And they were from the 80's. But yes, i can see were your coming from.

Knowledge is the bomb brother. It was also covered by U2 when they were going through their 'American' phase. Hendrix version was the best imo. Give Dylan's original a go, it's also powerful.

yeah true - the smiths were flying the flag on their own for a while it seemed when the "pop" scene was truly dire

Grew up with 80's music but loved Pink Floyd/Bob Marley so late 70's -middle 80's was my music time.
