wow... I didn't even catch that before. I was going to say that he probably didn't really mean it as a racist insult against Obama, until I saw the link Huggie posted up there...
I dunno, maybe he just meant to capitalize on the news about that chimp to make a point about the stimulus being stupid...which would still be insensitive but not racist. For international people who may not be aware about this chimp in the news, it's a pretty tragic case:
One thing that has been pointed out is that Obama didn't actually write the stimulus bill; he delegated it to people like Nancy Pelosi.
