        I'm a big Islay fan, and the Lagavullin is certainly top of the class.

        But if you haven't tried it - there are some tasty peaty goodies in the Ardbeg line. I'm currently working on an Ardbeg Uigeadail. If you're a fan of peat (as I am), you should definitely try the Supernova. I have only had a single glass, but I've got my eyes out for a bottle of the magic. It's velvet smooth that leaves a giant dollop of peat setting in your mouth - that's not overpowering or annoying - but absolutely perfect.

        The Laphraoig 10 year cask strength is also good. It's become my "standard". At around $70, it's cheap and great for the money.
