Has anyone heard anything new about anyone picking up their weekly shows? Its been ages since they went off the air and I miss them dearly. There were a few rumors running around late last year...but then they all seemed to die down. Any news would be good news at this point.

Sven Vath was amazing...he played a god damn killer set...ended up going to that and came to at like 10 am in some whore house in south Amsterdam...no idea how I ended up there...friday was a bit of a blur got really drunk and visited several parties can't remember a whole lot to be honest hehe...saturday was probably the best day that I recall...started up in the nearest coffee shop and going from party to party...beautiful woman, beer and weed...finished the night by taking some shrooms and listening to an amazing elke kleijn set...sunday...i met a nice girl who worked at one of the coffee shops and ended up talking to her for like 6 hours...was supposed to meet her at some DnB party...but instead went for a steak and walked around red light district bars drinking and smoking...monday took it easy went to a coffee shop and took a taxi to airport....
All in all...I think I will be going back there some time soon

if there is one thing about djs from buenos aries lately is they dont care about there fans. its a shame really.
i mean look at sasha....mysteriously some how his sets end up getting leaked

^^^ I don't agree with that at all. !! Hernan runs a very healthy forum, and responds to queries. Every Argentine Dj that I have had anything to do with has been very helpful. Answering emails etc. I haven't had anything do with Martin Garcia.
Re releasing sets, they want what they give to us FREEt to be good! What is wrong with that !!! Hernan worked bloody hard for years on his radio show, and I'm sure Martin did as well. Almost every one was done just for his radio show, you didn't download the same set 100[slight exaggeration] times from different radio stations.
I would love to see their radio shows back, but in case you have forgotten it wasn't them that cancelled out . While I would love to see them back on air, I've actually thought about the logistics and particularly for this pair of perfectionists, it would asking a hell of a lot!! Time passes , we move on and I am forever grateful for what they have given !
So stop whining and go back and listen to some of the thousands of contributions that Argentine Djs have made over the last few years.
It's an incredibly rich lode.
I'm signed up to Sasha's website and the only time I get mail is when it's voting time or he's selling something.
Btw Anyone who thought I wouldn't bite on this was dreaming

I got my hopes up there for a second...I though to myself "christmas came very early this year"...but sadly no.
How in the world can you say that??? After Hernan and Garcia doing weekly sets on metrodance for ages? How much money do you think he got for playing music on a radio station in South America? If thats not being loyal to ones fans and roots I honestly don't know what is!!!
As for the question the therad asks...No, I have been looking around the web recently and found nothing like the old Good Old Metrodance...I get shivers down my spine whenever I hear that female voice saying all those numbers in spanish and "your listening to Hernan Cattaneo on Metrodance 95.1"...ah good times trullyThe Idiots ARE Winning.

u are talking my comments the wrong way. i greatly appricate all the old radio shows and music from hernan and garcia.
what i am saying is big time djs like sasha and dig have quite a few of the big time Live Shows released. (takin care of there fans)
hernan and garcia RARELY let that happen.
Plus over the last year i have seen NOTHING from garcia and barely any from hernan.
imo no sets in over a year is screwing the fansComment

Chuck makes a good point. Since the shows have gone off the air, I would thing that more live sets would be released....otherwise, don't they kinda run the risk of fading from consciousness? Granted these guys are ace....but if they don't come out with new sets from time to time, I'm likely to get my fix for something new elsewhere.
But god...when they did have their weekly show, Hernan espeically....its like a double disc CD being released from your favorite artist EVERY SINGLE WEEK. Amazing.It's never too late to become the person you always thought you would be.Comment

The wrong way ?? I think lumping all the BA Djs together like this is plain ridiculous. I also think saying they don't care is equally ridiculous !! May I say FREE again. They owe us nothing !! Yeah?? Hernan we didn't do that badly anyway last year , 4 months of radio shows [16] Essential mix , April, August , Space of sound and some radio shows . Personally I like that he chooses what he believes is the best. Doesn't waste my bandwidthbarely any from hernan
