for some reason this trailer looks more like a Robert Rodriguez movie than a tarantino one

Tarantino is probably on my top 5 list of directors but this trailer doesn't do it for me , I will still go watch the movie though.

He's borrowing from a ton of sources again - The Dirty Dozen, John Woo (the image of the bartender being shot in slow mo with the bottles exploding around him), and even himself with the Nazis entering into a room with a very nervous looking guy sitting in the chair (shades of True Romance). Interesting cast with BJ Novak from the Office and Hostel director Eli Roth getting roles.

They're saying an Aug release date, but I get the feeling that it'll be out in the fall.
