Please.
Here is the problem. I re-tag my mp3's so that they appear "Artist - Title - Year" in itunes. Then I import them to my external, then I import them into Serato using the "import" button on Serato. Then Serato builds the overviews of the mp3's and I'm done.
So I think.
Then when I go to find the tracks in Serato, they have the "Artist" and "Title" in the artist column....I keep having to edit the "Artist" column so that the title of the song does not appear along with the artist name...This is such a pain in the ass, considering I import around 100 tunes every couple of days...
I've noticed that even after I edit the tags in itunes, when I go back and check the tags, the artist name and song title are still in the first field where I deleted them from in the first place.
Anyone that uses Serato know a way around this so that I don't have to edit every tune twice (Once in itunes and once in Serato)??
Thanks!!
P.S. I am not trying to sync my itunes library with Serato.
