    music @ work

So i work for this high end retail store that is owned by Williams Sonoma..we tend to cater to snobby, just married couples who have their first house/city apt.

Anyways I got to work today and saw we just got our November music tape. I usually dont bother looking but i was reading the tracklisting and its GOOD music!! We have way out west, st. german, sander k, i couldnt believe it.

I cant tell if it this is a good thing or a bad thing in general...but for me @ work its awesome.

I knew you all were dying to know...

Gotta beat that utter shite the blast in Hollister and Abercrombie. Mark my words, it will be no less than 10 years before we see our first court case brought by a former employee of one of those stores who has lost all or part of their hearing. I can't stand to even walk into Hollister because it is so confined and the music is jacked way too high.

hell yeah! lucky I get a company laptop & two other desktops, so I download gigs of cds from [ms] and listen to them while at work. It's always nice being able to listen to shit you want to, as opposed to listening to bad n-sync or backstreet boys like walmart forces down your throat.

        Hollister?

Our music tapes are four hours long, hour 1 is oldies like, hour 2 is pop, hour 3 is jazzy, and hour 4 is housey/chill out. We also have that one song where the male lyrics are saying something about stereo wiring being set up properly...its on the danny howells set from arc

i listen to mp3 @ work all day. or the BBC realplayer. just got a new box at my desk so my shit it dialed. "rolling in lexus, acuras girl"

i'm on the phones during the day alot, so our music goes perfectly w/o having a bunch of lytics to distract you.

did that make sense what i wrote? it's late and i'm sick...

I tend to avoid music in my workplace. I've got staff asking me questions quite regularly, and generally am on the phone a lot. Besides that, the only way I can play music is through my laptop and it sounds terrible. Sort of like a walkman's headphones when they're not on your head.

So I save my music for driving to and from work ... and it's worth the wait.

I work at a call center so I can't really listen to music cause it would be too distracting. I hate my job.
