I don't bring this up because I think there is any racial component to it (which is what they're discussing in this clip -- I just couldn't find a better video anywhere). I bring it up because it is just utterly, comically pathetic. A comment probably intended to make Bachmann seem more "in touch" with urban culture instead highlights in painful detail just how dreadfully out of touch Bachmann is. She couldn't have sounded less "urban" on a dare.
It honestly felt like an SNL skit. Totally made me cringe.
Should the RNC be reaching out to the black community? Of course. Should it do it by having impossibly white people speak in ebonics? Uh, no.
