Using the USB feature on CDJ-400?

I have been trying to figure out what I am doing wrong in my effort to play tracks directly off of my thumbdrive. I even formatted the drive to make sure nothing else was on there except music. After I insert the drive I try to scroll through and find my tracks but they aren't showing up anywhere. Any ideas I've used the manual so Im just throwing this out there to whoever. Is there a certain type of drive it reads, FAT32 etc. Any help would be awesome!

You can't use any usb stick for it. There are different protocols used to store information on USB sticks and the cdj just can't read some of them...I don't know what they are that FAT32 stuff does have something to do with it ...a friend of mine was explaining it all and I wasn't really listening but I got the gist of it...this also affects the speed of the USB stick...also you can't use a stick larger than 2 gb in my experience....the guy bellow says you can, so maybe I am wrong on that one.
Hope thats some help to you...

p.s. what type of memory stick is it?

Im using a Sandisk 2gb, and like I said I formatted it and everything. I am however, using WAVS as a source. That sux if i can't play WAVS off of the devices. Playing MP3's out sux.
Maybe Pioneer will come out with a firmware upgrade or whatever. Thanks for the help peeps
