I had a fantastic time. I went in to the club having never heard DT play live. I didn't have any expectations, maybe a few preconceptions. From what I've read in the past, peoples' opinions of him have come across as somewhat mixed. He has diehard fans and eternal haters.
The guy put on a show. He didn't talk too much, something his detractors criticise him of, and the music was mesmeric. He really put together a great journey of music. The crowd were wonderful and the vibe something else. Had some real comedy moments with his torches and that metal ball he squashed his head with.
I can say it was one of the most memborable of clubbing nights.

i don't get it though, what makes him icky? he created such a great vibe. ok he talks sometimes, but he's being a showman, it all added to the theatrical nature of it all. it sure made me feel better about laying down ?22 for it.
from that video, looks and sounds like a great time,
i saw Tenaglia in Miami at the WMC in 2000 and it was one of the best nights of my life, good times.
