    REAL Hip-Hop - KRS1

    my mate here in Tampa, DJ Sandman, is one of THE best hip hop dj's around.. and I mean hip hop as in De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Rakim, Red Alert, etc.. true old school

        then the self titled one “Krs one” came out in 1995, then maybe “I Got Next”

                  oh the memories, I remember catching boogie down back in the day (just to date myself a little )...good times, they absolutely tore the place apart!

                        That is a bit dated, caught them in 87 on a bill with ICE T, Erik B and Rakim, Doug E Fresh, and Too Short, maybe Queen Latifah, been a while.

                            i strongly recommend "by any means necessary" by Boogie Down Production. Believe the album dropped in 87 or 88.
