I was just curious to see if there was a product out there to which you could upload your mp3's to the "mixer" and mix from your mp3's?

I don't have an iPod, so an iPod mixer wouldn't work for me. But ideally I would like to just upload my mp3's onto a device/mixer and be able to play from this device's own hard drive.

I think this sounds like a lame question, but curiosity got the best of me.

i know there was one where you could mix sounds from two ipods. Made by Numark, i think.

There's also this controller by denon with internal HD but you have to plug it into a mixer

yeah i had a gig last saturday and was thinking as I was dj'ing, that I don't think i would like going the computer route.
