I'm not usually too into animated films (or monsters and alien for that matter) lol but this movie actually looks really good. I think mostly because of the cast which includes, Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogan, Stephen Colbert....
I saw it last week with my girlfriend. It was us and probably 7 sets of parents with their children in the theater. We were the only ones laughing at it because it isn't one of those movies that panders to a child's intellect. I most certainly enjoyed it. Stephen Colbert as the president is freaking awesome, btw!

I saw it last weekend with my daughter. I think she liked it, but I am sure I liked it more.
My 5 year old was quite frightened of the scenes of the 'climax' in the end. Anyway, one of the better movies I have seen this year.
Yup, I know what you mean... Good pics though, Akira and Steamboy would be on my Japanese list then. Titan AE would have crept in as well... I haven't seen Ninja Scroll yet...
