anyone read Words and Music by Paul Morley?
Its a great story of dance music infiltrating mainstream culture - but then also how the mashup industry came into being.
Its mainly historical, but is loosley based around a Kylie video! Its very clever.
It can be a difficult read at times, as there are lots of lists included.
If you are an old fart - and were clubbing, gigging in the late 90's it is a must read.
