I think Facebook is scared Twitter is going to take some of its pie.. The new 'status updates' thing taking prominence over the homepage is a tad copy of Twit me thinks..

Yeah I was thinking the same thing....although it really doesn't work the same for FB....I don't like it at all.....they should of left it the way it was imo

i made my twitter 3 weeks ago --- i find it fun, ominous, instantanious and inclusive, as opposed to facebook's multi-myriad superficial utilities.

seeing as u cant delete yourself, it sits there. i use it as a glorified communiale photo album!

you can sort of delete your self, well, you can make your account inactive therefore making yourself invisible to the network
