I just learned about Google Voice a couple of days ago and it looks very promising... kind of scary to know that all your calls going through GV is sitting on some Google server somewhere though.

Can someone explain how this is actually going to work or how it works in practice?

Iīm guessing one doesnīt... I did apply for it months ago...

This GV stuff used to be called GrandCentral, and people who were in on the beta for that app, + a few lucky GMail users, also have access to GV now, but as soon as Google acquired it, they shut it off to the general public.

Itīs not supposed to take much longer to be open to everyone though

This app should be rather interesting... would like to know if it works well on the blackberry.

Google Voice is the best way to keep a second phone number with free calling and text messaging services. Find out how to use this service.
