Actress Natasha Richardson dies from Ski Accident

This is so sad... Natasha Richardson (wife of Liam Neeson and daughter of Vanessa Redgrave) suffered from traumatic brain injuries after a skiing accident on Monday. She was taken off of life support and died shorty after on Wednesday afternoon.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Liam, their two young sons and entire family.

Tributes to Natasha have been pouring in...

very scary...just a little bump on the head. my guess is she has some pre-existing succeptability to such an injury, whether it was a weak blood vessel in her brain or something like that. people normally dont die from falling down on a bunny hill, helmet or not. absolutely tragic. her kids essentially watched their mom die...

ohh...and if you go skiing...where a helmet! i'm a very good skier, and can go all day without falling on expert runs. you wont catch me not wearing a helmet.

If anything good can come of this tragic accident... it will be the future lives saved from similar traumas...

Already a young girl in Ohio was saved due to the media coverage of Richardson's accident... her parents sought immediate attention for a minor head trauma which turned out to have been potentially deadly.
