That does sound fucked up. Surely they must have SOME reason for doing this? There doesn't seem to be anything for them to gain by just being spiteful?

The courses I was taking where all IT based which would of given me better qualified than some of their Business Administration staff to progress within the company. Some of the other courses could encourage people to leave the company.
Oddly we have been laid off for 4 months all Business Administration staff have not. Even though their is no work for us to do.
So many companies all over the world seem to be using the economic downturn as an excuse to do anything they want.
I reckon Barak Obama would be pretty pissed off that government money wasn't used to to help employees in this case.

Hang in there mate ... this just seems silly, if it encourages some people to leave surely they would want that in the current climate .. maybe they feel pissing you all off will have the same effect. Crazy.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

Any employer that doesn't want their staff to improve and better themselves are fools.
I went to a meeting yesterday with our local Member Of Parliament regarding the collage courses. She has agreed to lobby this to take away the guidelines that require the Current or Last Employer having to sign off the courses. Fortunately another collage has come forward and said the will do there best it hold all the canceled courses at their collage even if they can't get the funds for them. The most annoying thing for me is I would like to go public on what the company has done but I've have been told it could jeopardize the courses at the new college.
The Digweed night at Zouk was called "Fuck Work" ... seems verty appropriate. Hopefully that mp will get on the case.
