    BIO:

Alan Fitzpatrick looks set to take 2009 by storm but don't just take our word for it – John Digweed and DJ magazine have both tipped him for great things. With a string of well received productions under his belt and his own 8 Sided Dice Recordings imprint going from strength to strength, you'll be hearing a lot more from Alan over the coming months.

DJ support for Alan and 8 Sided Dice has come from Dubfire, Pete Tong, Christian Smith, Fergie, Nic Fanciulli, John Digweed, Carl Cox, James Zabiela, Steve Angello, Stephan Bodzin, Layo & Bushwacka, Adam Beyer, Sasha, Chris Lake, Laurent Garnier and Slam to name a few, so it's pretty much guaranteed his music has been played all over the world. Alan's skills behind the decks are first class too and his driving techno & tech house sound is increasingly in demand.

Based on the south coast of England, he has been rockin' dancefloors around the world for several years. Alan originally started out playing techno and hard dance, and achieving international success with his label Brain Damage Recordings. He also collaborated with Dave Robertson on over 40 original releases and remixes, all of which provided the ideal platform to perfect his studio skills.

Alan's musical style has evolved massively from his earlier days as a DJ and his unique style has always been focused around the groove and his ability to get people dancing. There's a freshness and energy in his productions too which incorporate elements ranging from minimal techno to progressive house all fused together into his trademark dramatic big house sound.

In 2008 Alan launched 8 Sided Dice Recordings as an outlet for his own productions and likeminded artists. After only four releases from Alan himself including the 'Mai Yin' EP most recently, the label is already well respected and Fergie, Rocha & Lewinger, Dave Robertson and Reset Robot all have tracks forthcoming. Alan has also remixed or collaborated with artists like John Digweed, Fergie, Misstress Barbara, Steve Angello and Nick Muir among others.

Radio play on Pete Tong's 'Essential Selection' and the 'Essential Mix' on Radio 1, and John Digweed's 'Transitions' show on Kiss FM have further enhanced Alan's reputation. Digweed went on to commission a guest mix from him for his show in October 2008 and has become a major supporter including his remix of Misstress Barbara's 'K-10' on a recent covermount CD for DJ magazine to celebrate 10 years of Bedrock Records.

The stage is firmly set for 2009, therefore, and Alan is busy in the studio working on plenty of new material. Remixes of Fergie's 'To the Core' and 'Aquatonic' from John Digweed & Nick Muir are due out shortly along with his reworking of 'Self Constructive' by Andre Sobota on Spectrum Recordings. On the label front, 8 Sided Dice has EPs scheduled from Dave Robertson under his Reset Robot name and techno heads Rocha & Lewinger, while Steve Angello is also remixing a track for the label.

Collaborations with Dave Robertson and Fergie are planned for this year and Alan will also be working with Sergio Munoz otherwise known as Delete. There'll be plenty of action on the DJing front too as Alan takes his music across the globe, while he'll soon start work on preparing a live show.
