That's definitely Scott's style, and a mature one at that. Just really solid, credible tunes mixed in a very competant manner across 4 hours of a genuine journey-style set.

He's got quite a number of mixes kicking around the place for those who want more. You can find both last week's show, and the May 2004 installment from him in my shares on Soulseek (gtappers2) - and there's quite a number of others that opaline75 has got in his shares.

I'm glad you guys like the set. As with most promos or CD's that I make, it's a representation of how I like to play (and listen to) my music, whether it is in a club or at home. This set actually starts out in a slightly different style but I always like to try different things with my mixes. The journey plays a big part in what I love about music (especially in long sets) and that's what I tried to provide for the listeners in this set.

Some of these tracks are actually pitched down on this mix, which is quite normal for me. One or two towards the end are pitched up a little to make it a bit more up front at the peak of the set. Just in case anyone is curious, the mix starts at around 124 bpm and climbs slowly upwards throughout the set to 135.

Thanks for your comments guys. It makes my day to know that other people enjoy my sets.

Funnily enough Scott tends to pitch down more often than pitch up. But he's known to play sets that start out in the low 120s & slowly build up before finishing around 135 bpm without you even noticing.

Opaline racks up yet another pointless post. Well done me.

Good to see we've now got Scott to become a member. Now we've got the two best dj's out of Sydney on this board. In case anyone's wondering the other is Robbie Lowe.

Can't wait to hear your set Scott. Dan says he's sending it to me. For if I were to download it. It would take me a good month of on again off again downloading. Stupid dinosaur dial-up.
