    i can't hear anything over 12kHz. fuck, time to get some ear protection. actually if i do it with headphones i can get up to 16kHz

          Yeah I'm at 12k also but I already have tinnitus (sp?) so am fucked already.

                              I can hear all of them Pressumably it doesn't matter how loud you set the volume - just about the level of the tone.

                                  I can hear 8khz... and that's it!

                                  I knew I was deaf as a post though, 20 odd years of clubbing has done that to me.

                                  EDIT

                                  I can hear 17khz, it was the shit headphones I was using. This surprises me no end though, usually I can't hear anyone, especially when it's a crowded area.

                                                          It says that it's common for people over 25 to not hear anything over 15k so that's not bad.
                                                          I can hear 17 but not 18.
                                                          I really should go for a proper hearing test.
