The heat has just been cranked up this summer as South West Four just announced that Sasha & John Digweed will be this year’s official headline act. Playing a UK Festival Exclusive B2B set, SW4 is the only festival in the whole of the UK where you’ll get to see both DJs playing together. Sasha & John Digweed will be closing the day’s events with a climatic final set on the main stage, as the day turns to night and the real fireworks begin! MORE ACTS ANNOUNCED VERY SOON!!


I would probably see if they are playing an after party before buying a ticket. Though its not a bad day out if the sun is shining, let down by poor sound.

hmmm...I would go as I wanted to go to it for ages and its not very far from my house but I will be finished with my degree by then and I am not sure if I am staying in London or not. I need to figure out a way to make a living first lol

I'm sure it will be a proper Back2Back set. The did separate sets in 2005 and appeared on the bill separate. I recon it will be the same set up as the BA set, if Sasha gets there on time of course.

ah word. i hate it when digweed plays 3-4 records, then sasha plays 3-4 records then back to digweed. sasha kill's diggy's vibe. every damn time. if digweed plays his set and THEn sasha...maybe we're talking....

They seem to be playing a lot together this year ... sasha is playing on a Tuesday at Space on July 21st ... this is normally Carl Cox's night which Diggers plays - could be that they are playing b2b there and that's be awesome.

He's also playing tons of amnesia dates (including one with Hernan).

Yeah 2005 they got 90 Mins each. Paul Van Dyk got 2 hours, I'm guessing if your going to book both to play together its going to cost more money.

The sound problem isn't going to improve because of the constant complaints from local residents. I always treat it like a nice day out in the sun, and then have a serious house party afterwards.

Shit sound quality assured, shit tunes likely, although I've never had a problem with it being over busy to be honest.

Yep...they bill so many DJ's that even together they're unlikey to get more than a couple of hours.

I've been the last 4 years and although I've always had fun, I don;t think I'll be going again. Last year I wandered between three tents and the main stage and they were playing basically the same tonking commerical shite at all of them. I even heard a 'Sweet Dreams' remix for fucks sake. Music for the Maases imo
